Tall Grass Prairie, Kansas

Have you ever seen an animal at the zoo and thought, "wow, look how large it is!". now image that but instead of a fence, there's  only hills. Instead of being twenty feet away, you stand in the middle of a bison herd with nothing in between you except your camera. Another hidden gem in the hills of Kansas, the Tall Grass Prairie holds an astonishing amount of Bison herds roaming from valley to valley leaving trails of footprints and flattened grass blades. I've only ever seen such an event on television. So when my friends and I found our first herd, I had no other choice but to see these amazing beasts up close, and boy did I get close. After about the third herd, I've managed to linger in the middle of one and just stood there, mesmerized by the might this animal gave.
