When my wife and I first started dating, we made it clear to each other that what we want most out of life is to travel. So one weekend we decided to load up the car, load up the dogs, and headed west for Colorado! It was our first big adventure together and we couldn’t be more ready for it . . . but fate had other plans. Next thing we know I was driving down the highway with a broken wheel bearing at 10 mph in the middle of Kansas in the dead of night. We managed to get the car up and running the next day but had to change our plans and decided to camp out in the Tall Grass Prairies. With the budget blown and disappointment at a high, we headed back home. With each passing year, we both saved and waited our time until we could try again. Then, it happened. We loaded the car once again headed west and next thing we knew, we could see the mountains breaking through the neverending hills. We had finally made it and let me tell you, it was everything we could have asked for and more. Until next time, I hope you guys enjoy these moments from our journey.
